Over the summer of 2018, Airbus and ENAC have launched the “ENAC – AIRBUS Safety Management chair”, through the ENAC Foundation. The objective of this chair is to address the new safety issues raised by the evolution of the global aviation landscape and by the increasing digitalization of this domain. It is headed by Corinne Bieder, Head of ENAC's "Safety and Security" research programme.

Driven by natural departures and significant growth in Air France, Joon and Transavia capacity, Air France now needs to recruit 250 pilots per year. The company has therefore decided to reopen its cadet pilot programme 8 years after it was suspended.

The ENGIE Ineo - Groupe ADP - SAFRAN Research Chair on Drone Systems is the first European research chair to address the subject of drone integration in airspace. The chair was launched in 2015 and funded by the 3 companies. It aims to promote research and education by the way of the ENAC’s drone expertise and the knowledge of the Air Traffic
Management world.

On June 21, 2018, on the sidelines of the Paris Air Forum, Hong-Kong International Airport Chief Executive Officer Fred Lam, and ENAC Deputy Chief Executive Officer Philippe Crébassa signed a new agreement to train the managers of the Asian air transport industry.

On June 11, 2018, the National Secretary of Brazilian Civil Aviation, Dario Rais Lopez, and the deputy Director General of ENAC, Philippe Crebassa, signed in Toulouse a cooperation agreement to implement two Advanced Masters in Brazil, the very first training programmes of their kind in Latin America.
