Master in International Air Transport Operations Management - Hong Kong

Objectives

Executives in aeronautical industry must have technical knowledge, managerial skills and a thorough understanding of the regulatory context associated with air transport. This multidisciplinary system creates major challenges that call for improvements of their capabilities and skills in developing and managing effectively and efficiently their respective domains.

In order to respond to these challenges, ENAC has been offering Master of Science program in International Air Transport Operations Management (MSc IATOM) in France since 2007. As of September 2016, ENAC will be offering a joint MSc IATOM in Hong Kong; in partnership with Hong-Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST),  which is one of the best universities in Engineering in the world - HKUST is ranked 14th globally in Engineering and Technology in 2015 QS World University Rankings.

This joint program offers a unique international experience with a semester in Hong-Kong, as well as specialization in airworthiness at ENAC in France.  It could also be considered as an option of MSc in IATOM focusing on aircraft conception, maintenance and airworthiness, which have been major cause of concerns for aircraft and engines manufacturers, along with air transport companies globally. This program aims at training managers with a global view on air transport system and improving their ability to work cross-domains; specifically throughout the aircraft life-cycle, that is from the conception of aircraft, development, operation, maintenance to safety.

Upon graduation, each student shall receive a joint institutional Master of Science in International Air Transport Operations Management (MSc IATOM) degree certificate from ENAC and HKUST.  Since the IATOM degree is accredited and recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education, a separate certificate recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education will be issued by ENAC.

Program

Structure

In order to graduate with the 2-year MSc (IATOM) degree, each student has to complete total of 120 ECTS including the 30 ECTS of internship.
