MS Aviation and Air Traffic Management

Objectifs

The optimized management of the air traffic activities implies to go beyond the perimeter of the air traffic control  bodies, to encompass  the aircraft flight crew as well as the activities of aircraft operators in their operational management of flights.

The purpose of the Mastère Spécialisé in Aviation and Air Traffic Management is to provide a comprehensive view on interactions  of all aviation players at operational level. It aims at giving an operational know how of a quickly changing aviation world towards  more collaborative activities.

The objective of the Mastère Spécialisé is to prepare students to be system engineer or project leader. They will have  to manage or  to work within interdisciplinary teams in charge of improving processes or  developing new applications allowing overall optimization of the Air Traffic Management. It includes airline operations, airport operations, and air navigation services providers.

In this frame, it deals with technical enablers and develops the operational objectives of the major European programme in that field, called SESAR, aiming at  implementing in Europe an optimized air traffic management


Voie & Conditions d'accès

  • Diplôme d’ingénieur en Aéronautique, Automatique, Electronique, Informatique, Télécommunications ou équivalent
  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in the same fields, with 3 years' professional experience
  • English proficiency: Test Of English as a Foreign language (TOEFL: minimum 520) or equivalent (TOEIC, …)

Airbus, Thales ATM, Sesar JU and Egis Avia are partners of the master in Aviation and Air Traffic Management. They contribute to the teaching effort, optimize the relevance of the training and propose internships.

An orientation comity made of ENAC and DGAC experts, and members from these companies contributes to the evolution and adaptation of the academic sequence.
