Publié le 07 March 2018

For the first time after several years of cooperation, ENAC and CERSA (Training Centre for Airport Security Strengthening) signed a framework cooperation agreement in Beirut in the field of Aviation training and expertise.

The first part of this agreement with the Lebanese civil aviation is aimed at launching training in security in the second half of 2018.

This agreement strengthens both the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and contributes to the regional influence of this centre of excellence, whose activity is constantly growing.

With the aim of promoting synergies, ENAC and CERSA have established the following areas of cooperation:

  •  Organisation of training courses in the field of aeronautics and more particularly aviation security at CERSA premises
  •  Sharing of experiences, instructors and training materials
  •  Creation, development, adaptation and translation of course material
  •  Assistance in the aeronautical field of aviation security

The meeting also allowed an exchange of views on the evolution of air transport in France and Lebanon, as well as common future challenges such as airport management, the insertion of UAVs in air traffic or satellite navigation.
