What will air traffic control look like in 2050? This is one of the questions addressed by the STRESS project, funded by the SESAR programme. STRESS is an European collaboration focusing on neuroergonomy and air traffic control with Jean-Paul Imbert and Géraud Granger, Human-System Interactions and Human Factors Research Engineers at ENAC.

More than a thousand students from aeronautical universities all over Europe are expected in Toulouse from 22 to 24 March 2018 on the occasion of the EAG (European Aerostudent Games), organised on the campuses of ENAC and ISAE-SUPAERO.

On the 8th of March 2018, Ms Sarinee ANGSUSINGHA, AEROTHAI President (the Thai ANSP), and Mr Olivier CHANSOU, ENAC President, have settled their strong motivation of cooperation through a signature of a cooperation agreement.

For the first time after several years of cooperation, ENAC and CERSA (Training Centre for Airport Security Strengthening) signed a framework cooperation agreement in Beirut in the field of Aviation training and expertise.

From 6 to 8 March 2018, the "World ATM Congress" will be held every year in Madrid (Spain). ENAC will present its latest training and research innovations. More than 7000 visitors from all over the world are expected.

French President Emmanuel Macron, in China on an official visit, and Chinese President Xi Jinping were in attendance when ENAC Director Olivier Chansou signed a memorandum of understanding with Beihang University for the founding of an aviation university in Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province.

On the 10th of January 2018, ENAC (Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile) and APEX signed a partnership agreement to provide an integrated ab-initio training solution to airlines and aspiring pilots at APEX, Taiwan. This agreement will help address the worldwide issue of pilot shortage whereas the quality of training remains paramount.
