On Thursday, March 21, ENAC and ISAE Supaero jointly organised the first Digital Clean'up Day and Clean'up Day. Digital Clean'up Day is a worldwide day of action to raise awareness of the environmental footprint of digital technology, which takes place in March every year.
Two events in one!
Digital Clean'up day: To recover unused IT equipment from staff in order to recycle old equipment or return it to the staffing circuit. The final inventory is underway.
Clean'up day: students and staff from both schools got together to collect rubbish on and around campus. Organised into four groups, participants collected:
- On the road from SUPAERO to ENAC: 7.75 Kg of waste
- SUPAERO campus: 12.3 kg of waste
- ENAC campus: 8.4 kg of waste
- Canal du midi: 6.75 kg of waste
A total of 35.2 Kg of waste was sorted and sent for recycling. At the end of this collective effort, staff and students from both campuses shared a snack prepared by Elior on the theme of zero waste.
