École nationale de l’aviation civile (ENAC) has been awarded the 4DIGITAL “Expert” accreditation by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) for a period of five years. ENAC thus becomes the first engineering school in France and the second higher education institution in the country to receive this distinction.
Having previously obtained the 4DIGITAL “Grande École” accreditation, ENAC has now reached a new level with the “Expert” distinction, recognising its advanced digital maturity and the quality of its approach to digital education and distance learning. This accreditation notably assesses institutions’ ability to design, develop and deliver digital learning and distance learning programmes in line with their quality assurance processes.
Integrating digital technologies into training practices
The integration of digital technologies into ENAC’s training programmes is supported by a range of educational tools and initiatives.
The Learning Hub, the F2E initiative, hybrid and distance learning formats, and the use of simulators in training for careers in aviation and air transport illustrate the diversity of approaches developed by the School.
These initiatives contribute to the evolution of teaching practices and the integration of digital technologies into training programmes, both on campus and remotely.
Recognition of ENAC’s digital strategy and collective efforts
The 4DIGITAL “Expert” accreditation follows an evaluation process conducted by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles.
Following its audit, the CGE highlighted five key strengths of ENAC: a clear digital strategy, a structured approach to digital learning, strong learner support, a culture of continuous improvement and appropriate infrastructure. This recognition acknowledges the work undertaken by ENAC and the collective efforts of its teams in advancing digital transformation and evolving teaching practices.
