On February 18th, 2025, the ENAC laboratory participated in the third SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking (SESAR JU) Annual Conference, showcasing posters, demonstrations, and research results from our SESAR projects.

At the Digital Sky Marketplace, SESAR projects presented innovative and sustainable Air Traffic Management (ATM) solutions across key domains:

U-SPACE & Urban Air Mobility

  • EUREKA (SESAR 3 Fast Track project) – A European solution for vertiports and Urban Air Mobility (UAM).

Multimodality & Passenger Experience

  • SIGN-AIR – Transforming data-sharing across Europe to enhance multimodal transportation.

AI for Aviation

  • JARVIS – AI-based digital assistants supporting air traffic controllers by predicting workload and optimizing task delegation.
  • TRUSTY – Advancing trustworthy AI applications for remote digital towers.

Aviation Green Deal

  • CICONIA – Mitigating aviation’s climate impact through innovative Concepts of Operations (CONOPS).
  • GEESE – Improving environmental efficiency by optimizing energy consumption.

Connected & Automated ATM

  • CODA – Controller Adaptive Digital Assistant to enhance air traffic control decision-making.
  • ATC-TBO – Pioneering the evolution of Trajectory-Based Operations (TBO) for improved flight efficiency.
  • HYPERSOLVER – A holistic AI-powered solution for Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM).

Bringing together academia and industry, the SESAR 3 JU Annual Conference provided a unique platform to exchange ideas, explore innovations, and discuss the future of European air traffic management.
