Last June, ENAC delivered the theoretical training of 19 SNA-OI air traffic controllers, marking the first stage of an unprecedented scheme to renew surveillance ratings (APS & ACS) outside its premises, at Roland Garros Airport (FMEE).
In early September, it was time for practice, the second stage of the program: the first group of 10 air traffic controllers successfully renewed their ratings directly on site, thanks to the ELSA simulator developed by ENAC and the presence of our examiners deployed from Toulouse.
This achievement highlights the continuity of the partnership between ENAC and the Indian Ocean Air Navigation Service (SNA-OI) to ensure a high level of competence and safety in the region, in line with European regulation 2015/340.
Congratulations to the teams involved in this project and to the controllers for successfully completing this milestone!
