ENAC’s Human Factors Expertise Supporting the Single European Sky

Damien Mouratille, Selection, Teaching and Research Officer in Human Factors within the LH/PSY department and the ACHIL laboratory at ENAC, has been selected to join the Commission Expert Group on the Human Dimension of the Single European Sky (CEGHD) at the European Commission.

This expert group ensures that the voices of human operators – air traffic controllers, pilots, ATSEP engineers – are considered in the development of European regulations for the Single European Sky (SES). Its work focuses on the impacts of automation and evolving competencies, as well as on performance and well-being issues for operational staff.

The CEGHD advises the European Commission, fosters cooperation between stakeholders, and promotes the exchange of expertise and best practices on the human dimension of the SES.

This appointment highlights ENAC and its ACHIL laboratory’s contribution to research and expertise in Human Factors, supporting safety, performance, and innovation in aviation.
