JARVIS - Meeting ATC Digital Assistant

Réunion JARVIS – Assistant numérique ATC

On January 21 & 22nd, , partners from Leonardo, CIRA, Airbus Defence and Space, CRIDA, ENAC, ENAV, Indra, and NAIS gathered at ENAC premises to advance Solution #2: ATC Digital Assistant (ATC-DA) by:

  • Maturing key deliverables:  OSED (Operational Service and Environment Description), Technical Specifications, Cost-Benefit Analysis Standards and Regulations
  • Refining Validation Plans, including human performance and safety assessments, to prepare for the upcoming wave of exercises planned in 2025 to validate the concept.

About ATC-DA:  An AI-powered assistant that uses historical data to mimic human reasoning, enhancing collaboration between controllers and automation, ensuring better understanding and acceptance within the man-machine team.

About JARVIS: The JARVIS project (2023–2026), under the SESAR Joint Undertaking, aims to enhance aviation safety, efficiency, and sustainability by integrating AI-driven digital assistants. These innovative tools are designed to transform operations in control centers, cockpits, and airports.
