Présentation la semaine du cerveau

Organised every year in March since 1999, la Semaine du Cerveau is an international event, held simultaneously in around a hundred countries and over 100 towns in France.

To mark the occasion, Christophe Hurter, a lecturer and researcher in the SINA-OPTIM-IA department, will be giving a lecture entitled "Les chercheurs-trouveurs: l'IA au service de l'épilepsie" (Researchers : using AI to treat epilepsy) at the Quai des Savoirs (39 allées Jules Guesde, 31000 Toulouse), on Tuesday 12 March 2024 at 6pm.

Christophe Hurter, accompanied by Emmanuel Barbeau, Director of Research at the CNRS and the CerCo (Centre de Recherche Cerveau et Cognition), will explain how they have developed an innovative tool, based on artificial intelligence, to detect new biomarkers in the brain area where epileptic seizures begin, and how this approach has led them to develop a start-up company.
