On April 1st, ENAC participated in the SIGN-AIR hybrid Technical Review Meeting, bringing together experts from air and public transport, data engineering, standardisation, and regulation. The meeting focused on assessing overall project progress, reviewing the solution, and discussing key areas such as deliverables, risks, standardisation, regulatory topics, past activities, and communication strategies. The session concluded with project recommendations and future directions.

What is SIGN-AIR

SIGN-AIR is a SESAR Fast-Track project focused on enhancing multimodal travel by automating the management of data-sharing agreements between Transport Service Providers (TSPs). Through Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs) and Smart Contracts (SCs), SIGN-AIR enables seamless data exchange while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

ENAC's Technical Contribution

ENAC contributes to SIGN-AIR primarily by developing optimisation algorithms for multimodal operations. Its key focus areas include improving passenger flow efficiency, optimising resource allocation at airports, and supporting disruption management strategies to enhance passenger rights and travel reliability. Looking forward to helping SIGN-AIR enhance the resilience, sustainability, and efficiency of multimodal transport!
